Hi everyone and welcome to my new blog! I am so excited to get started!
First, I suppose I will tell you a little about who I am. I am DJ Baker; An Entrepreneur ( http://www.DJBVenturesOnline.com ), a mom, a wife and, as I write this, a F/T Business Manager for a Risk Management Firm in NY. I refer to this period of my life as my “soon to be former self/life”. Don’t get me wrong, I do love my job and I have a great boss who I love to work for but, I don’t plan on staying! Why, you ask? Why would I not plan on staying when I have a great job and a great boss? Well, because I am soon to be MY OWN BOSS! It’s as simple as that! No, I am did not buy one of those MLM marketing scams off the internet, and no I am not thinking I will be an overnight success. What I have done is accept the fact that I AM AN ENTREPRENEUR. I have the mindset (have my whole life actually) and the tools to get myself to where I have always wanted to be. Free from the 9-5, financially secure, and uninhibited in my ventures. Ahh…such freedom!
So, onward I go into the muck and the marrow. I hope you will follow me on my little adventure and I would love your comments and emails. I am thick skinned so don’t be shy. A little constructive critisism is always a good thing! =)
